Goalkeeper

Joe Hart – Man City V Aston Villa – $4,500

joe hartI think this week you just have to suck it up and pay top price for Joe Hart. If there is any matchup in the league you want it is Aston Villa at home, which is exactly what Joe Hart has this week.

Man City will also be furious after a loss away at Liverpool and with Man Utd gaining ground on 4th place, so they may look to take out some of that anger on a very poor Aston Villa side.

Joe Hart won’t have much to do in this game, but I would expect a win and clean sheet bonus at the very least.

Defender

Daryl Janmaat – Newcastle United vs AFC Bournemouth – $4,100

Daryl JanmaatI don’t see much value in defenders this week, but this maybe a good time to draft Daryl Janmaat into your lineup.

Janmaat, and Newcastle as a whole, does much better against lesser opposition, as he has more chances to get forward and put crosses in.

I would expect Newcastle to have a lot of the play at home against Bournemouth.

I feel he should be able to get into the double digits in this game.

Midfielder

David Silva – Man City vs Aston Villa – $6,200

david silvaEven though I feel he is a little on the expensive side this week, I think David Silva has huge upside in this matchup.

Man City could easily score 5 goals in this game, and as most of their play runs through David Silva, it gives the Spanish playmaker opportunities to get assists and a goal

He hasn’t been in great form particularly as of late, but form almost goes out of the window when you come up against a side as poor as this Aston Villa team have been this season.

Forward

Loic Remy – Chelsea vs Stoke – $3,100

loic remyNow, if Hiddink sticks to his word Diego Costa should be rested for this game.

That means even a debut for Pato or a rare start for Loic Remy.

Either way, whichever of these guys starts I am going to have them in some of my lineups.

The price for Remy is just staggeringly low, especially for a player who delivers so often when he has been called upon.

Alexandre Pato – Chelsea vs Stoke – $4,000

alexandre pato

Pato is a slightly less appealing play, as he has a slightly higher price and we haven’t even seen him in the Premier League yet.

He will be a complete unknown entity if he starts this weekend, but having said that, I think for $4,000 against Stoke at home I am willing to take a gamble on him.
