DraftKings Premier League Fantasy Picks: March 12th 2016 March 12, 2016 Fantasy Sport

barclays premier leagueTime for another weekend of Barclays Premier League action. With FA Cup ties being played this weekend there is only 3 games being played this Saturday. So with such a small slate, we should be trying to find hidden value to stop our lineups looking the same to everyone else’s. The soccer games we have on Saturday all kickoff at 15:00 GMT unless stated, are as follows:

Norwich City vs Manchester City (12:45 GMT)
Stoke City vs Southampton
AFC Bournemouth vs Swansea City

Goalkeeper

Arthur Boruc (AFC Bournemouth vs Swansea City) – $3,600

I think the majority of people are going to head to Joe Hart (who was our pick last week), Fraser Forster or Jack Butland this week, so I’m going to be drafting Artur Boruc.

The Cherries have a home matchup against Swansea, who have won they’re last two games.

I think this should be a tight contest without too many goals, but it is a game Bournemouth will be looking to win.

He should have enough points from saves to make up for the possibility of not achieving a clean sheet bonus, and a win for the Cherries is likely.

Defender

Geoff Cameron (Stoke City vs Southampton) – $2,500

So long as he is starting in a full back position, Geoff Cameron is great value here for $2,500.

He was very low owned last week and scored a respectable 7 FPS.

Expect his draft % to take a small hike this time round, especially with the limited slate on offer.

If he can get forward and put in a few crosses whilst padding his score out with some defensive peripherals, he should easily make value on Saturday.

Midfielder

Dusan Tadic (Stoke City vs Southampton) – $6,100

dusan tadicAt the start of the season, this man was a must own week in week out. He did everything, crossed the ball, assists, goals and scored huge points every single week.

However a severe slump in form has left him out of the team and undraftable. He did comeback last week however with a solid 17.5 FPS performance, including and assist.

I’m going to trust that that will be enough to keep him his starting spot at the Brittania Stadium on Saturday. I don’t think one good performance will make his ownership jump too high, so I still think we will be seeing his percentage around 15% this week.

He has more than enough quality to put in a big performance wherever he is playing, and if he gets the corner and free kick duties, he is a lock for 15 or so fantasy points a game.

Forward

Benik Afobe (AFC Bournemouth vs Swansea City) – $4,700

benik afobeEveryone will be drafting the same forwards this week, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, Arnautovic and Max Gradel.

Expect their ownership to be sky high. Of course they are all very viable plays and not people you should overlook, but in terms of ownership percentage and value, my pick is Benfik Afobe this week.

Just a note I would also play Josh King if he is starting. Bournemouth create chances every single game home and away, so their strikers are going to get opportunities to score.

Afobe is a top goalscorer and if a chance falls his way, he will more than likely take it.
