Guards
Damian Lillard – Portland Trail Blazers – $9,200
Lillard has been on fire lately for the Blazers, scoring at least 44 FPS in his last 3 games and at least 38 FPS in his last 8. Tonight he comes up against the Rockets, who are the 26th worst ranked team against the PG position.
He also scored 44 FPS just 4 days ago when the Blazers took on the Rockets in Houston. If you are willing to pay up for the PG position tonight, Lillard is the way to go.
Rodney Hood – Utah Jazz – $6,000
In the SG position tonight I like the look of Rodney Hood.
Even though he played 43 minutes last night on the road in Dallas in an overtime win, I still think he along with the Jazz can put up another good win on the road.
If they do, Hood will be at the forefront of that. He has score over 33 FPS in his last 3 games and has at least 23 points in each of those.
Forwards
Nicolas Baum – Charlotte Hornets – $7,300
Baum has been thriving whilst playing in a SG position right now, but he is still listed as SF.
In his last 3 games he has posted 2 Double-Doubles and at least 45 FPS with a huge 57 FPS game against Washington.
He may be up against the good Pacers defence tonight, but at his price we should still expect him to at least hit value.
Aaron Gordon – Orlando Magic – $5,800
Gordon has took his chance whilst being added to the Magics starting lineup. He may have burned a few players drafts already this month with just 11 and 15 FPS games, but in his last two he has put up scores of 34.5 and 46.75 respectively.
A game tonight against the Spurs isn’t exactly ideal, but in his last game against San Antonio on Feb 1st, Gordon scored an impressive 34.5 FPS, which included 12 points and a season best 16 rebounds. We’re going to hope he has another big game tonight.
Centres
Karl-Anthony Towns – Minnesota Timberwolves – $8,300
He has to be in contention for your centre pick tonight. In a game that could be very close against the Raptors, we have to expect Towns to have a big game.
He has consistently been putting up huge numbers for weeks, and the Rookie has posted 8 consecutive double doubles.
He also only played 29 minutes on Feb 8th in a blowout against New Orleans so fatigue should not be an issue for him tonight.
Andrew Bogut – Golden State Warriors – $4,400
If you want a cheaper option at centre tonight, Bogut may be your best shot. If you’re experienced with NBA DFS, you’ll know underpaying at centre doesn’t work out too much, but there may be some value in this play tonight. Bogut helped carry the Golden State Warriors last night as his team mates struggled somewhat around him.
He posted a huge 46.75 FPS, his biggest by some distance this season, and whilst it’s highly probable he goes back to his 21.5 FPS average tonight, he may be worth taking a play on if he can ride the wave again.
