The very best basketball daily fantasy sport picks for DraftKings tournaments being played on Feb 24th
Onto another big night of NBA tonight with 10 games on the slate including some big games.
All of these games have huge over/under numbers so we are looking at a potentially huge scoring night, yet again.
Usually we should always aim for 300 FPS in DraftKings GPP’s, but I think we need a little higher tonight to even be sure of cashing. So, let’s get into the picks and find some value for tonight

Guards
Russell Westbrook – $11,000
With 5 top PG’s in action tonight, you can easily make a case to play any of them. However, I think Westbrook just edges it.
He is the highest priced player on the draft, but he has huge upside tonight. The Thunder take on the Dallas Mavericks on the road in what should be a close contest.
Westbrook has also been in great form for a long, long time. In his last 15 games he has only dipped below 50 FPS points once, and rather unfortunately, it was against Dallas on the road.
I wouldn’t let that put you off however, as Westbrook can dominate any defence he comes up against.
Forwards
Luol Deng – $6,100
Deng’s price has been rising substantially over the last few games, which makes him a bit more of a risk right now, but I still feel he represents good value right now at just $6,100.
With Chris Bosh out, Deng has been seeing more minutes and is taking full advantage of that.
Considering his average FPS score for this season is 22.8, his last 3 games he has totalled 53.25, 49 and 35.5 FPS.
He comes up against Golden State tonight which should be a good matchup against a team who’s philosophy is to simply out score you and not give to much thought on defence. I would expect him to make 6x value tonight.
Centres
Karl-Anthony Towns – $8,800
The rookie is on fire. Karl-Anthony Towns was included as one of our NBA picks 2 weeks ago against the Toronto Raptors. It doesn’t seem like anybody can stop this boy right now, so even for $8,800 I have no problem drafting him in cash or GPP tonight.
In his last 12 games he has only failed to get a double-double once. He comes up against Toronto tonight, who have been very good defensively.
He will come up against Valanciunas at centre for the Raptors, and I’m just not convinced he will be able to handle Towns.
If Minnesota are going to come out on top in Toronto tonight, I would look for Towns to have another huge game.
