The best PGS daily fantasy sport picks for the upcoming tournament, the Honda Classic on February 25th
We had some mixed results last time out at the Northern Trust Open. Jordan Speith had a terrible, terrible tournament, nobody could have predicted how badly he would have done. Luckily he is not in the draft this week so we do not have to debate whether he will comeback or fail again. Dustin Johnson had a great tournament but, again, missed out on the win by finishing in a respectable 4th place. Kevin Na was another disappointment as he failed to make the cut.
So, onto this weeks picks. The PGA is heading to Florida to the Palm Beach Gardens for the Honda Classic. The course is a 7,157 yard par 70, and is generally one of the harder courses on the tour.

Luke Donald – $8,600
First up is Englishman Luke Donald. Donald hasn’t been in the greatest form as of late, having failed to break into the top 20 in the first 4 tournaments of the year.
However, Donald has a great track record on this course.
He has finished tournaments here in 2nd, T10, T8 and T7 in recent years.
Whilst he hasn’t been hitting the top of the leaderboards, he has been consistently been making cuts, having made it in 5 out of 6 tournaments this season so far.
Of course, if you want to make a run at the top of the leaderboard you generally need every golfer in your draft to make the cut, so whilst Donald hasn’t been good of late, he seems like a solid mid priced option this week.
Fredrik Jacobson – $8,200
Even though he struggled last week at the Northern Trust, I think Jacobson could bounce back this week.
He has been in great form this year, with two top 5 finishes already in just 4 tournaments.
He makes a lot of birdies too which is great for DFS points and has averaged 69.9 FPS over 9 tournaments. At this price he will be a great addition to your lineup and should have a good weekend in Florida.
Russell Knox – $9,700
Another golfer with a great record at this course is Russell Knox.
In the last two years in this tournament he has finished T3 and T2.
He has been struggling lately, having failed to make the cut in the last 2 tournaments he has played, however there is no better chance for him to bounce back than playing on a course that he obviously loves to play on.
Although he hasn’t started this year in great fashion, Knox did end 2015 in style.
The last 2 tournaments of the year ended with a 2nd and 1st place finish for the Scotsman. Hopefully the price of Knox will scare a few people away when they factor that in with his recent form, but I would fully expect him to be near the top of the leaderboard come Sunday night in Florida.
