Jordan Speith $13,200
Not the most inspired pick to start with. Jordan Speith is the tied highest priced golfer this week, and although he finished T21st last weekend at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, he looked much more comfortable in the last round where he shot an impressive 66.
He also loves playing on this course, finishing 4th here last year.
Of course you will have to be prepared to pay up for him and find value elsewhere because he takes up over a quarter of your $50,000 salary cap.
J.B. Holmes $9,800
Mr Consistent. Holmes has started this year in terrific form, especially for golf DFS. He has finished in the top 11 for 4 out of the 5 tournaments he has played this year, with the other still a respectable 24th.
He hasn’t earned himself less than 73 FPS over that time, so he is as safe a bet right now as you can get in daily fantasy golf.
He also has great form at this course, too. He has 6 top-25 finishes at the Riviera and I would suspect he will go onto to make that 7 on Sunday.
Dustin Johnson $11,300
If you want somebody with a good track record on this course, look no further than Dustin Johnson. He has finished as runner up in this event for two years running and also has a 3rd and 4th place in his locker.
I’m sure he will be desperate to add a 1st place to that list after coming so close on multiple occasions. He had a fairly bad weekend at Pebble Beach, finishing in 41st position with a total score of -2.
I would expect the world number 8 to be finishing much higher up the leaderboard this time out, however.
Kevin Na $8,000
A slightly cheaper option this week is the America, Kevin Na. He is very unpredictable, having had 3 consecutive top 3 finishes but then following it up with a 57th and 28th place.
He was also very disappointing last weekend at Pebble Beach as he failed to make the cut after a promising open round.
However, he has proved before he can put up high scores and if he gets off to a good start at The Riviera this weekend, there’s no doubt he can do just that once again.
